Leadership Learning Team Project Overview

A significant component of the LA Program is a small team project focusing on service, teamwork, and collaboration. These Leadership Learning Team projects provide participants with the opportunity to make a difference in the community. Themes and topics vary from year to year, with project partnerships solicited from an array of community organizations.
Leadership Learning Team projects serve as a training ground for solving complex issues by providing opportunities for experimentation and practice, as well as exposure to different perspectives from team members. While the results and deliverables associated with the project are important, the first priority is to make the project a valuable learning experience, focusing on a process of inquiry, reflection, and feedback. Although frustrating at times, we believe the team projects are invaluable and end up being one of the most memorable parts of the program.
