Fellows Advisory Council Info

Purpose

The Purpose of the Fellows Advisory Council is to support the purposes of Leadership Asheville, which include:

1.1 To facilitate and support the continuing evolution of Leadership Asheville as a research, education, information, communication and community building organization, and to stimulate the involvement of Leadership Asheville Fellows, and others, in the continuing growth and evolution of community leadership;

1.2 To educate the community about civic leadership and community development;

1.3 To stimulate and facilitate effective community leadership by Leadership Asheville Fellows, organizations and others.

Role

The role of the Fellows Advisory Council is to focus on issues unique to community building and leadership, ranging from policy to the introduction of new programs and services. The Advisory Council shall recommend new policies, strategies or services to address the concerns of Fellows and to advance Leadership Asheville as a thriving community leadership/building organization.
